We are pretty excited to be playing at our first American festival this year — Roots on the River in Bellows Falls, VT with a line-up that features Sam Baker, No Fuss And Feathers Roadshow, Mary Gauthier, Pesky J. Nixon, and many other very talented artists! This just signals the beginning of the festival season, which is always an exciting time and not just because it is summer!

Ontario has some pretty rad festivals that you should consider checking out, if you’ve never been before. Mariposa is the “Grande Dame” of Ontario folk festivals, and always delivers a great line-up. Kingsville Folk Festival is relatively new (in its second year) but is already becoming a must-see festival. Shelter Valley is also a hugely awesome festival with a beautiful view of Lake Ontario.

We are honoured to be part of two great festivals this year: Blue Skies (near Clarendon) and Summerfolk (in Owen Sound). Both feature family-friendly programming so you will see us there with our son in tow and enjoying the festivities. Get a festival pass early and come join us!
